High Plains Drifter
Sculpture of a Bison
Bronze Africa ‘High Plains Drifter’
I sculpted this piece on a whim when I was living in Montana. I discovered for myself that the Bison during the rut converts from being a docile giant into a highly charged tank with his nose in the air and as mean as mustard. This sculpture is one of the most textured and expressive pieces I have ever made. I want you to feel that icy wind blowing across the high plains and meeting its match in this magnificent icon of the American west.
